Region: Cauca is located in central-western Colombia. This region is surrounded by both mountain ranges and the ocean, making it one of the coolest places in Colombia. This geographical location produces a very wide range of coffee, making this one of our favorite places to source from when searching for something a little different to add to offerings. Both the variety in landscape throughout the region and the well established farms make this a great place to get coffee from. 

Castillo: Castillo is a hybrid cross was developed by Cenicafe (the scientific research arm of Colombia's National Federation of Coffee Growers) to replace another Colombian variety and combine some of the best aspects of other Colombian coffees; it was released in 2005.
